SERIOUX is a leading brand of computer & consumer products in Europe, founded in 2004. The products combine new technologies with excellent design and outstanding functionality.
Situation
Combox Delivery was an electronics distribution company on the local market. They had a proprietary brand called Serioux, available in computer shops and large consumer stores. They sold mainly peripherals like mices, keyboards, headsets, gaming pads and wheels.
A consistent packaging strategy for their products was not present so the brand awareness wasn’t very high. The old logo was lost in the myriad of other products of the kind.
Solution
The strategy was to make the brand more visible through a better visual identity and a more consistent packaging design that would be visible in stores.
1. New Serioux Identity
The company was selling mostly computer accessories, and the best sellers were the gaming peripherals like the gaming pads, joysticks and racing wheels. That is why I choose to go towards a more gaming related approach.

My client smartly chose the first concept, which is a bit aggressive and dynamic: a fighter helmet that expresses strength and endurance. This concept got a few more revisions and was combined with my second proposal, a custom drawn typeface, but the client opted for the initial helmet shape:

2. Packaging
This was the first box design concept I’ve sent to the client. This concept was the starting template for all the rest of the products:
